Performance Information Performance Information Solo David performs on his own, for an approximate time of 30 minutes. Playing the didgeridoo and giving demonstrations to interested participants. A selection of the audience are encouraged to “have a go”. David also sings and plays guitar in this performance as well as talking to his audience. He brings a relaxed and intimate style to this performance and the audience are made to feel as one. This is a featured performance. Sound, stage and lighting to be supplied by hiring organization travelling costs and accommodation will be costed extra if out of the cairns area. This stands alone as a solo booking Fee: on application by email David Hudson and the Didgeralia Band David brings band members together to perform featured contemporary music from his many and varied albums. He is an accomplished guitarist and singer himself. David incorporates many of the above solo elements into a fuller performance. Band which consists of two extra musicians, normally keyboard and percussion. We are able to offer projected background images in conjunction with the above performance. E.G. Reef, rainforest and outback. This adds an even greater dimension to the performance. Images supplied on DVD format. Projector and screen to be provided by client, or hiring company. Length of performance approx. 45 Minutes It is requested that this is treated as a featured performance therefore, if it is during an evening meal, scheduling would be appreciated between courses. A larger band is also available on application for the above and to deliver a varied range of dance music if required after the above presentation. 5 Piece E.G country, rock and roll and mainstream dance music. Fee: on application by email Sound, stage and lighting requirements to be met by hiring organization. Meals, travelling costs and accommodation will be costed extra if out of the Cairns area. Meals to be supplied to performers at an agreed time before performance. Cancellation fees apply: 25% 1 month out of booking, 50 % 3 weeks out, 100% cancellation fee applies from the 3 week time frame onwards to date booked. Fee: to be paid on completion of event. Contact Management by sending an email to management@davidhudson.com.au ART WORKSHOP PRESENTATION OF AN ART PIECE OR ART WORKSHOP FOR CORPORATE CLIENTELE ART PIECE David is able to create a unique piece of art that accentuates the trip or experience that the client has participated in. This is created with the incorporation of an Indigenous theme and bringing this together creating a totally unique and individual piece of art work that the client may hang in their office or prominent place. This becomes a customized art piece individually designed for this occasion. ART WORKSHOP Incorporate your company logo into this unique idea. David has a great technique of providing an exceptional experience to the participants. A selection idea of 4 major canvases can be used in the workshop and made into the one image. 20 participants approx. 5 per canvas. These 4 canvases are then hung together and may for example have your company logo in the middle of the painting. Individual canvases may also be purchased for participants to enable them to create their own art piece with David to take away with them. Prices : will include cost of canvases, paint and brushes etc. as close as possible to costings at time of quote. Max. participants 20 at a workshop. Duration – 2-3 hours per workshop. Client has to access suitable space at venue for workshop with access to tables and running water for washing brushes and cleaning paint etc. Price per workshop will be given on application if more than one workshop required for more than 20 participants. We are also able to offer printmaking of the original artwork for pillow gifts if required. Time restraints are worked around when possible and with suitable notice given. Prints are reproduced on ‘A’ grade quality art paper and produced in the size requested if able. He has toured the world on many occasions and is widely known as an accomplished entertainer, musician and didgeridoo player. He considers himself an edu-tainer. David has proven himself to be a motivational and inspirational speaker. He has the ability to talk to many and varied groups about his background, culture and his experiences on his travels around Australia and overseas. He has the unique ability to inspire those who hear him speak and is able to change his format to suit the theme and mood of the audience. He also has the ability to bring cultural reconciliation into his talks without the audience even realising it. David brings to his listeners a positive aspect of Indigenous and culturally diverse peoples and what they can achieve and how that translates to mainstream. He provides inspiration- and explores incentive to achieve goals and more importantly what motivates him to succeed. How do you deal with cultural obstacles? This is a topic for both Indigenous and culturally diverse audiences. David draws continual inspiration from his own cultural diversity and the many and varied characters he has encountered while travelling, enabling him to deliver to his audience a humorous and enlightening delivery. His communication crosses all cultural barriers and projects a global message, He also brings into this presentation – his music. A glimpse of didgeridoo and guitar gives special meaning to this presentation. David is able to provide his own laptop and projector for projecting images during his speech and performance.
